MBASSI Achille Aurèle holds a MD and a CES in Urology, Kursk State Medical University, Russia (1999, 2001), a General and Endoscopy Urology Certificate (2010), SIU Training Center, Institute of Urology, KCMC Moshi, Tanzania.

From 2004 – 2009, he was a consultant, head of Surgery Unit at the Regional Hospital, Maroua. From 2008-2009 he taught at the Nurse Training School, Maroua. Since 2011- today, he is a consultant at Yaounde Central Hospital.

In January 2012, he was temporary teacher at the FMBS, University of Yaounde I.  

He is a teacher at the Schools of Medicine, ISTM, Yaounde, and UDM, Bangante and participates in the training of residents of surgery.

He is member of the Cameroon Medical Council, member and associate-treasurer of the Cameroon Urology Society, member and Central Africa representative of the Pan-African Urological Surgeons Association, international volunteer in Urology, member of AORTIC and currently working on psychologic impact of prostate cancer, international member of the American Urology Association, and active member of the Société Internationale d’Urologie (SIU).
